Hi, I’m Janet, a sporty creative and a BACP integrative counsellor based in North London offering online and walking therapy for individual adults, both short term and long term.
I can offer you a safe, confidential and compassionate space for you to explore the challenges you are facing in your life, and find the root cause so you can understand yourself better and work towards authenticity and healing.

I work online through Zoom. I also offer counselling via telephone if you find it uncomfortable exploring your issues face to face. I offer walk and talk therapy so we can explore your challenges side by side, while benefiting from all that nature has to offer, as well as the benefits of walking.

Counselling provides you with a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore your challenges in depth so you can better understand yourself and your emotions. This often involves revisiting painful or traumatic times in your life. However, once revisited you are now working towards making positive changes in your life.
As your counsellor, I am here to listen, offer you a fresh perspective on your challenges and help you to challenge the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that are preventing you from living your life the way that you want to.
I am not here to fix you or advise. As a person-centred counsellor, I know that you have the answers within you, and I am here to help you find and apply those answers to your life in a healthy way.
A powerful way to overcome any challenges that you are facing is talking about them. Counselling is a talking therapy in which you explore the issues that are troubling you with a professional, so you can reach a place of greater self-awareness which will help you make understand yourself better. It is a place of confidentiality, comfort and compassion, offering you the freedom and the space to be heard, so that you can better understand yourself and your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
There are so many benefits to spending time in the fresh air and in nature that can enhance the therapeutic relationship. Together, we can spend time in nature, exploring your struggles, while enjoying all that nature has to offer, physically and emotionally. It is a less intense form of therapy as we walk together, side by side, which creates a different dynamic and makes us think differently, which can help you on your therapeutic journey.

I also offer training and workshops to raise awareness in mental health in the community. These workshops, designed for people who have never engaged in metal health services, those who are waiting for a counselling service or those who have left counselling and require additional support, aim to provide the information and guidance needed.

Currently, my fees are £53 for 50 minutes.
If you need to cancel a session for any reason, please give 24 hours notice to avoid the 70% charge for the session.
