About Me

Background

Through my own personal experiences in life and the benefits I felt from counselling, I was drawn to counselling and psychotherapy. After qualifying as a counsellor, I continued engaging in charity work, something that I still do today, offering counselling to those most in need.

I have worked with carers and those experiencing domestic abuse. I support people who have suffered trauma, I also offer therapy through my local church. I work with clients who are experiencing various issues and from various backgrounds. I also worked with a large provider of online counselling, working with clients with a range of different issues from various backgrounds.

I am also a playwriter and short visual storyteller as well as the author of 'From my Heart.' My productions have a message of hope in the midst of life’s adversities. I have also been involved in various productions around the topic of mental health, designed to help raise awareness about mental health, something I am very passionate about. I also run a variety of training and workshops around mental health education and creative writing, my goal is to help destigmatise poor mental health so more people are aware of the services on offer, what counselling involves and the support that is available.
